Diving deeper into game engines

For the past year, I’ve worked a lot in Unity and web technology through my work on Divine Aegis, Gear Frontier, and Drive Live. Now that I’m wrapping up on those projects, I’m really excited to have time to explore game engine design and development. Through my classes at USC, I’ve had chances to explore partsĀ of game engines, such as animation, networking, and rendering, but now I’m going to try to put everything I’ve learned together. I hope to learn much more by diving into this rabbit hole. I’ll probably end up putting together an incoherent mess, but I think that there is no better way to learn than to research and try it firsthand.

C++ is my first and favorite language to develop in, so I’m looking forward to this experience. I’ll try to keep the site updated with what I’m doing. Wish me luck!
